Training Program for the Drivers & Helpers

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) organized a training program titled “Driving for a Safer Tomorrow” on 19 August 2025, at the Central Seminar Hall, IIUC. The event aimed to raise awareness about safe driving practices and promote road safety among participants.\n\nThe program began at 10:30 AM with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by an inaugural address from Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aktaruzzaman Khan, Director, IQAC. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman, Hon’ble Treasurer of IIUC, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered his inspiring remarks emphasizing the importance of responsible driving for saving lives and ensuring safety on the roads.\n\nTwo interactive training sessions were conducted by distinguished resource persons:\nMd. Shamim Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic – North), Chittagong Metropolitan Police.\nMohammad Helal Uddin, Operator Instructor, BRTC Training Center, Notunpara, Chattogram.\n\nBoth sessions focused on traffic awareness, driver responsibility, and preventive measures to reduce road accidents. The training concluded with an engaging discussion and expression of appreciation from the participants.\n\nThe program successfully contributed to enhancing awareness about road safety and promoting the message—“Safe Driving, Safe Tomorrow.
