IIUC IQAC Organizes Two-Day Workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
A two-day workshop on “Outcome-Based Education (OBE)” for PSAC members and newly recruited teachers was successfully organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). The workshop was held at the university’s Central Auditorium on 21–22 October 2025. On the inaugural day, the Hon’ble Treasurer of IIUC, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The closing session was graced by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ali Azadi as the Chief Guest. The workshop sessions were conducted by Mr. Md. Mostafa Amir Faisal, Assistant Professor, Department of ETE, and Mr. Jamil As-ad, Lecturer, Department of CSE, as resource persons. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aktaruzzaman Khan, Director of IQAC, chaired the sessions. Presented by Dr. Shah Md. Sanaul Karim, Additional Director of IQAC, the workshop covered essential aspects of OBE curriculum design, course file management, and effective assessment techniques. PSAC members and newly appointed teachers from all departments actively participated in the two-day program. In his closing remarks, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of equipping PSAC members and new faculty with modern teaching methodology and urged them to continue contributing toward academic excellence. Department Chairmen and Dr. Mohammad Manjur Alam, Additional Director of IQAC, were also present on the occasion.
