The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) conducted its department-wise Compliance Visit for the Spring 2025 semester as part of its continuous quality enhancement initiatives. The visits began on 20th September 2025 and continued to 29th October 2025, covering all POEs/departments. The objective of the visit was to review the implementation of quality assurance practices and to verify the proper documentation of academic activities. The IQAC team examined essential files, including Course File Reports, Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) analysis, CLO - PLO assessment, Exam Committee files and Advising files, peer teaching observation, steps taken for students with CGPA below 2.5, BAC updates, and students’ answer scripts. Each department facilitated the visit through active participation of the Chairman, PSAC members, and course teachers. The visiting team, led by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aktaruzzaman Khan, Director, IQAC, included Dr. Shah Md. Sanaul Karim and Dr. Mohammad Manjur Alam, Additional Directors of IQAC. During these visits, the team reviewed documentation accuracy, course file completeness, and the overall compliance with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) standards. Following the visits, each department received a detailed report highlighting the findings, areas of improvement, and specific recommendations for future implementation. These visits reaffirmed IIUC’s commitment to academic excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement in its teaching–learning processes. The compliance visits of 2025 not only ensured accountability and consistency of academic practices but also strengthened the university’s quality culture aligning institutional activities with national and international quality assurance frameworks.
